外の情報が一切入らない閉鎖的な環境の中で、50人もの人間が修行しながら生活していると、人間が集団になったときには一定の行動パターンがあるものだなということがよくわかりました。オピニオンリーダーがいて、それに追従する人間と反抗する人間、それぞれのヒエラルキーの中に組み込まれる人間とがいて。

最初は、どんなカリキュラムで何が行われるか誰にもわからないので、原始共産制みたいな感じで相互に助け合っていく雰囲気になるんですが、だんだん寺で住み込みをしてた人間には「次に何が来るか」がわかるようになります。すると、大学から、いきなり修行に来た人との間に情報格差が生まれてきて、情報を持っている人間が「○○のコツを教えてやるから、洗濯をやってくれ」と取引するようになって、原始資本主義が生まれてくるんですよ。

さらに、大衆供養という差し入れでアンパンや饅頭をいただくと、「1アンパンで1洗濯」とかアンパンが貨幣として機能し始めるんですね。（笑）。そうなると、持つものと持たないもののヒエラルキーができてちょっと殺伐としてきたりして。3ヶ月の加行期間で、人間の集団が文明の終わりまでいくという密度の濃さでした（笑）
